What are lingual braces?
“Discreet” lingual braces
The braces are attached to the back of the teeth to straighten them. Because they’re on the back, they aren’t noticeable from the front.

Features

Front-side (labial) braces
・Standard braces
Silver brackets are attached to the front of both the upper and lower teeth. They can treat all types of malocclusion. In some cases, treatment can be completed in a short time.
・Aesthetic braces
The brackets are attached to the front of the teeth.
Because the brackets are a less noticeable color, they look better. The corrective force is the same as with standard braces.
-
Back-side (lingual) braces
The braces are attached to the back of both the upper and lower teeth.
They’re hard to see, and others are unlikely to notice that you’re having orthodontic treatment. Treatment takes a little longer than with front-side braces.
You may also feel discomfort when eating or find it harder to pronounce words.
-
Invisalign
Invisalign uses clear plastic aligners, so it’s very hard to notice.
You wear the aligners for at least 20 hours a day and switch to new aligners yourself every 7 to 14 days, moving the teeth a little at a time.
The satisfaction of discreet braces, at a price you can feel good about
Orthodontic treatment is not covered by insurance, so it is self-pay. However, some people may not be able to afford it.
We want to help as many patients as possible who have given up on orthodontic treatment because it’s expensive, so we offer it at prices below the typical market rate. There is no charge for a consultation, so start by talking with us.
